World Environment Day officially takes place every year on June 5, but we're Celebrating Forests for People all year long! As part of the celebration, we're creating a paperless directory of outstanding "green" organizations working in China.
In support of next year's Rio + 20 Earth Summit in Brazil, GtB is asking all of our members this summer to help create a list of corporations, small businesses, and other organizations with exceptional "green" credentials for our website. Once we have all of your recommendations, we'll publish and maintain the information on a special webpage and add more to it in the future.
Nominate youth-led organizations and genuinely green businesses operating in China that you personally trust & respect now through September 7, 2011, to help recognize and share their achievements with our ever-expanding global network.
In thanks for helping us to create this list, GtB will award earth-friendly prize gifts to the top 3 Beijing-based contributors who note the most youth and/or business organizations from our green friends at NLGX, Natooke and The Veggie Table .
To participate in this activity, please sign-in and make a recommendation for a "green" organization operating anywhere in the country -- here (The Green Directory) -- with a link to their website (if applicable). Kindly note that you cannot nominate the same organization as someone before you, therefore repeating information already listed will not qualify your entry.

世界环境日之绿色评比活动

同时也为了响应明年在巴西举行的联合国可持续性发展会议， “里约二十周年地球峰会 (Rio +20 Earth Summit)”，点废成绿将号召每位会员在这个夏天都搜集一份列举所有你知道的，在绿色环保这一领域有做过杰出贡献的企业，商户和其他机构组织。当我们搜集好大伙儿所有的推荐， 并做成一份联系索引录后，我们会在一个专门的网页上公布，管理并更新所有这些绿色机构和团体的信息。
