COEXIST

“Coexist” is hand drawn using a tablet. The piece comments on humans’ interference with nature and the power of coexistence that every individual possesses.

Dir: Jamie Stone & Anders Jedenfors, UK, 2008, 4mins

From a series of animated shorts in which young children explain aspects of the modern world, "Recycling According to Alexander"; Alexander Buchanan explains the importance of recycling.

COALITION OF THE WILLING

Prod: Knife Party/ Tim Rayner, UK/AUS, 2010, 16mins

A global collaboration, Coalition of the Willing is an animated film about an online war against global warming in a post-Copenhagen world.

BOTTOM OF THE RIVER

A music video for Tom Fun Orchestra by UK based animation duo. 


OTTICA ZERO

Dir: Maja Borg, UK, 2007, 13mins
Polemical poetry with sci-fi style visuals. Soon after her ‘big break’, Italian actress Nadya Cazan disappeared. Ottica Zero follows Nadya on her search to find an alternative way of living. It is a journey which takes us from Rome to Venus, where 91-year-old social innovator and futurist, Jacques Fresco, proposes a solution.

A stop motion animated music video for Mathieu Lippé created solely with seeds.

Flux

Dir: Matthew Kemp, UK/ Netherlands, 2008, 15mins

Inspired by elements inherent in musical composition, this film reflects rhythms, cycles and patterns which appear in the natural world. Shot entirely on Super 8mm film using time-lapse photography, everyday environments are dramatically re-represented, urging the viewer to question his own relationship with the natural world around him.

THE NEWLY COMING SEASONS

Dir: Min Sung-Ah, KOREA, 2009, 12mins

Four seasons of Demilitarized Zone in Korea.

Demilitarized Zone was created as an armistice agreement on July 27th, 1953. Since that day, we have known that DMZ is the places of intact ecosystem far away from mankind. However, with a gunfight and arson by militants and a disturbance of the nature by foreign plants as well, on its bare ground, there are a lot of problems between man and nature not being solved by North and South.

新季节

韩国非武装区的季节。

非武装区是1953年7月27日停火协议的产物。从那天开始，我们知道非武装区成为了远离人类的完整生态系统。但是，激进分子的纵火乱斗和外来植物的生态威胁不断发生在露天空地上，人类和自然的许多问题正在困扰着南北双方。
