Beijing's landfills are getting full fast! Reduce the "trash" you throw away by purchasing products with minimal packaging. Look for reusable, recyclable, and biodegrable items and remember to carry your reusable shopping bags!
"Trash Treasures" are everywhere in Beijing. Sometimes they spring up in the least expected places! The inspiration can even be overwhelming at times.
Take this plastic flower garden, for example. I discovered it earlier this year, on my way to visit GreenLadyC. We still have no idea just which one of her crafty green neighbors planted these beautiful babies, but we're sure glad they did.
We were so impressed with this work! We don't know whether to label it as a new style of "green graffiti" or just straight-up "white pollution pizazz"....
After all, while trash is a valuable resource, it really DOESN'T grow on trees.
