A colleague of mine sent me this video yesterday. In the midst of my countless paperwork and a glass of coffee #2 at 10:45 PM last night, I decided to take a break from work and watch this video. The 20 minutes 40 seconds lapse time kinda put me in doubt whether I should watch it or not since I still have lots of work to finish. But I still watched it and it was worth it. When the news came out few weeks ago about China's energy consumption exceeding the U.S., I was not too surprised. In Beijing itself, with the continuous appearance of new shopping malls, office buildings, and high-rise apartments plus added with car sales that is the best compared to any parts of the world, I'm sure Beijing's energy consumption is probably equal with some countries in Africa.

Green Themed Park Opens in Beijing

Has Beijing become more aware of 'living green'? Apparently it has. A newly opened "Green" Theme Park has been opened in Beijing. Located northeast of the Bird's Nest, the environment-themed park covers 20,000 square meters and features five indoor halls including Noah's Ark, which highlights interaction between nature and human beings, Glass Hall, Art of Regeneration Hall, Paper Hall and Gifts Hall.
