Clear skies make for a great evening outdoors at Bike-in @ the Drive-In

Cyclists, film enthusiasts and those wanting to make the Beijing’s hot summer nights headed down to 2 Kolegas for a special screening at Bike-in at the Drive In. The rain held off and the warm night and comfy lounges provided the perfect setting to enjoy the collection of films curated by Electric Shadows, including the wonderful Les Triplettes de Belleville.

Raw food event this Thursday

For all those raw food aficionados and those wanting to find out about the benefits of raw food. Just in time for summer!

Kocoon invites raw food chef Jennifer McClelland for a green smoothie demo and to learn about the health benefits of a raw food lifestyle for individuals and their families.

The event will also feature "Raw for Life", a motivational and educational movie on raw food, weight loss, detox, beauty and longevity. The film features Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me), Tony Robbins, David Wolfe, Woody Harrelson and more!

Participants needed for Beijing Bicycle photographic series

Talented Beijing-based photographer, Peter Carney (www.petercarney.net)is planning a portrait series about cyclists and their bikes in Beijing. He is hoping to use the portraits to help promote the use of the bicycle in Beijing and is keen to shoot people from all walks of life, bike types and nationalities. He is currently looking for willing volunteers with bikes to be part of the series. If you are interested contact Peter at petercarney@gmail.com.
