点废成绿 Greening the Beige (GtB) is an eco-minded arts collective and not-for-profit community network dedicated to nurturing awareness of environmental issues. 点废成绿 GtB promotes and celebrates earth friendly artists and organizations in Beijing.

In collaboration with Greening the Beige, Electric Shadows is proud to present SCRATCH: A recycled film workshop with music and other sounds. Through a combination of cutting, scratching, and scribbling, participants will transform sections of pre-exposed 16mm film, otherwise destined for the bin, into a series of unique visual loops to be projected live alongside a soundtrack composed that day in the simultaneous Electric Shadows soundlab. Closing a full week of green cross-over events, GtB'3 wraps up its 3rd year with a recycled film workshop hosted by Electric Shadows and sustainable community bizarres in the afternoon; followed by an evening with Pecha Kucha Beijing (www.pkbj.org), plus the 3rd annual Eco-Fashion Show featuring WillowWillow couture (www.willowwillow.net),DimSum all things Asian designs (www.d-sata.com), and Raffles School of Design; blowing out the goodnight-lights with Acupuncture Records (www.acupuncture-records.com) DJs and friends, guest VJs (PIEN new art media), and out of the ordinary organic performan | ||
