Announcing Ford Motors annual CEGC awards that distribute grants to worthwhile environmentally focused projects across China. We are raising awareness of the opportunity for great projects to win grants to go towards continuing their great work in everything from grass roots communication projects to agenda changing sustainability NGOs. Arbor Day Party, this Friday – Let’s celebrate trees! March 12th is “Chinese Arbor Day” (Tree-planting Day), and we are teaming up with local grassroots organizations to host a party Celebrating Trees! There will be local bands playing live music with environmental messages, lots of vegetarian snacks, and we will show a brief film of the recent Roots & Shoots Nature Walk celebrating trees, at which young people, together with their parents and teachers, learned about trees in Beijing and how we can all contribute to their care and protection.
