The focus of Slow Food Saturday will be to promote culinary traditions and delicious foods while having fun and enjoying the countryside with family and friends. Local restaurants will prepare special dishes, local villagers will be selling locally grown foods, there will be culinary demonstrations put on.
We will have an organic bread station, a homemade cheese station, our own homemade ice cream and sorghum dumpling stations. The visitors will be walking, biking and hiking around our four villages - Mutianyu, Beigou, Xinying and Tianxianyu. We would like to highlight our local communities and have friends and families from Beijing come up and have a wonderful time.
