Green Greetings everyone!
Firstly, we\'d like to send a HUGE thanks to all of you that attended the opening launch event of Common Ground and came out to visit the exhibition at Huantie Times Art Museum.
GtB was glad to help present this worldwide collection of digital art focusing on environmental stewardship. A commemorative book highlighting the 2008 Exhibition Collection was sponsored by Hewlett-Packard and printed in a limited edition to benefit non-profit partners Global Giving, Global Environmental Institute China, and the World Wildlife Fund. For book sales enquiries and further information sign-up for the Common Ground newsletter at www.CommonGround2008.com.
At the moment you are reading this, Green Lady C is working on connecting all the green dots in the GtB matrix. A cleaner, greener, picture of event plans for next year will be out by February. Plans to visit Hua Dan Organization's Sichuan Earthquake Theater Relief Project have been postponed until May. On Saturday we plan to check-out the Beijing Improv Festival benefit for Hua-Dan (more info here: www.hua-dan.org)
In the meantime, here's an updated glimpse of all the green goodness happening in and around Beijing for you to check out:
>>The free flowing green info and ideas just keeps coming! Check out www.greenleapforward.com and http://chinagreenspace.blogspot.com/
>>Brrrrr! It's getting cold, and Beijing Green Drinks has moved indoors to The Bookworm (www.chinabookworm.com)! The next one will be on Tuesday, December 9th.
>>Tis the season, we've come across a savy green gift shopping site. While GtB doesn't advocate mass consumer frenzy, we do encourage giving gifts like these http://www.echoinggreen.org/blog/holiday-gift-guide-2008.
That about does it for now. Feel free to reply and give us a shout out. We like that!
Yours Greenly,
