Beijing's landfills are getting full fast! Reduce the "trash" you throw away by purchasing products with minimal packaging. Look for reusable, recyclable, and biodegrable items and remember to carry your reusable shopping bags!
Volunteer Spotlight:
GtB is proud to announce that Liang Sike (Alice), a Model UN Student who’s spent time doing extensive research on China’s development issues and their environmental impact, will extend her volunteer service with us in 2011.
Alice first joined the GTB Team in March 2010, as an Event Manager for our Earth Hour Language Exchange Party at The Hutong School. She’s also participated in GTB events such as our summer Bike-In with Electric Shadows, competed in/blogged about The Great Green Race, and helped promote our mission at the International Volunteer Expo sponsored by Volunteer Services Overseas.
GtB is utterly grateful to have Alice's continued outstanding support this year. We're looking forward to hosting more great green events with her helpful aid, warm and talented contributions.
