AllHands Now Accepting Volunteers in Japan and Haiti
Project Tohoku is All Hands Volunteers' tsunami response project in Ofunato and Rikuzentakata, Japan. Initially, we will work for two months on debris removal and home rehabilitation in the Sakari area of Ofunato, so that families can return home.

For the second half of 2011, we will be increasing the involvement of the local community and our local volunteers while offering more structured opportunities for international volunteer involvement. We will focus on Transitional School Builds, Hygiene Promotion, Livelihoods, Biosand Filter production and demolition of residential sites with a heavy equipment focus.
