Celebrating 3 years of green life and art in Beijing, Greening the Beige will dedicate its 2009 Annual Event to RE-ENERGIZE BEIJING.

在庆祝3年的北京绿色生活和绿色艺术之际，‘点废成绿’将倾力举办2009年主题活动：重塑北京。

Originally sparked from a re-cycled material art installation, Greening the Beige has come to embrace many key issues related to environmental protection and sustainability. From thinking green to eating green; wearing green to traveling and building green; GtB is an eco-minded artists’ collective formed in Beijing, that values vibrant, creative, interactive, and colorful urban environment.

从最初启发我们的可循环材料的装置艺术展示起，‘点废成绿’已经致力于将环境保护和可持续发展的元素融入每次活动。从绿色的思考问题到进食有机的食物，从环保的着装到有意识的选择环保的交通方式和建筑材料；‘点废成绿’被打造成一个基于北京、具有生态意识的艺术团体，他们将为建造一个充满生机的、创造性的、互动的、和多姿多彩的城市环境而贡献一份力量。

This year Greening the Beige will host its 3rd Annual Event in November 2009.

2009年11月，‘点废成绿’将举办第3届年度活动。

Standing at the turn of a new decade in the 21st century and coalescing with the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen held the following month, the theme for GtB 2009 yields to express the matter that’s converged at the forefront of our minds: energy efficiency and the world of tomorrow.

在21世纪的新十年来临之际，结合将于2009年12月在哥本哈根召开的联合国气候变化峰会的召开，我们此次活动的主题将充分展示人类正在面对的问题：高效的能源及地球的明天。

Greening the Beige invites all participants (past, current, future) to present their vision and solutions that will RE-ENERGIZE Beijing through imagery, installation, film, performance, music, workshops, fashion and even food.

今天，‘点废成绿’邀请所有参与者（过去的、现在的、将来的）以各种方式呈现您对重塑北京的想法和解决方案，包括肖像、装置、影片、表演、音乐、研讨、时装、甚至食物。

By collectively focusing on the topics of air, water, and power, GtB 2009 offers a canvas for the international green community to paint a brighter picture of the future.
